Choosing accounts to follow is one of the most important things you can do in KnowledgeNet. When you follow an account, KnowledgeNet knows to send you a notification whenever another user posts something to or tags that account.

This is a key benefit of KnowledgeNet. Without it, KnowledgeNet can't pull together information from multiple individuals and applications into one streamlined, searchable place for you.

To follow an account, use the main menu or the search bar (for help searching, check out this article) to find and open a KnowledgeNet record. Look for the blue button labeled "Follow." Click it and KnowledgeNet will begin sending you notifications.

You can follow a person/contact (e.g., Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk), company (e.g., Blue Origin, SpaceX), public group (e.g., Compliance, Deal Team, Opportunities, Ventures), or event (e.g. Paris Air Show, Comic-Con). KnowledgeNet notifies account followers by putting posts on their timeline and by emailing copies (to learn how to control these email settings, check out this article).

When you are following an account, the button will change from "Follow" to "Unfollow." Click it again if you wish to stop receiving notifications.
