KnowledgeNet is set up to NOT send email notifications for the posts that you author yourself. You may change this setting.
To turn on email notifications for your own posts:
Click your avatar or the drop down arrow in the upper right corner of your screen. Select "User Profile."
Look for the section called "User Preferences." You can see that the option to "Email me a copy of every post or comment I make" is toggled OFF by default.
Click the toggle to switch it ON. The toggle will turn red.
