Setting up KnowledgeNet.ai Web Traffic Intelligence

This article provides the relevant steps required to properly setup KnowledgeNet.ai Web Traffic Intelligence with LeadLander integration.

Overview

  1. Create a new LeadLander account using a valid company email address.

  2. Create LeadLander API credentials. API Username and API password will be entered into KnowledgeNet.ai.

  3. Save the JavaScript tracking code.

  4. Link KnowledgeNet.ai to LeadLander using API Username and API Password.

  5. Embed the tracking code into your website(s). **

Create New LeadLander Account

  1. Go to http://leadlander.com/?knowledgeNet to sign-up for a new trial. It is critical that you use the URL provided rather than the generic link on LeadLander’s site. This is the first step to tie your LeadLander account to KnowledgeNet.ai so we can integrate them together.

  2. Enter the domain being used and a valid company email address.

  3. A complex password of at least 12 characters (upper, lower, number, symbols) is recommended.

Log into LeadLander

  1. Log in to your LeadLander Admin Portal using the credentials from step 1 (https://app.leadlander.com).

Go to Account Settings (Gear Icon in Top Right).

Create LeadLander API Credentials

  1. Select API Access on the left navigation panel.

  2. Select Add API Key button.

  3. Select Submit to create the credentials.

  4. Copy the API Username and API Password and save them so they can be entered into KnowledgeNet.ai.

Save the JavaScript Tracking Code

  1. Select Tracking Code on the left navigation panel.

  2. Go to Tracking Code Installation section.

  3. Select Copy to Clipboard to copy the JavaScript tracking code to the clipboard.

  4. Save the code so it can be added into the company website code. You can reference Embedding Tracking Code into Your Website(s) for information on embedding the tracking code into your site(s).

Additional Domains (Optional)

  1. Select Domains on the left navigation panel.

  2. In the Domains Being Tracked section, add all domains for websites where you will be embedding the tracking code by typing the domain and clicking Submit.

Link KnowledgeNet.ai

  1. Open https://app.knowledgenet.ai/.

  2. Go to Admin Settings page (Drop-Down Menu in Top Right).

  3. Ensure all domains being tracked are listed in Organization Details - update as needed.

  4. Select the Integrations tab.

  5. Select Connect in the LeadLander integration item.

  6. Enter the API Username and API Password from LeadLander (Create API Credentials section above).

  7. Select Save to connect LeadLander to the KnowledgeNet.ai Web Traffic Report List.
