Connecting HubSpot to KnowledgeNet.ai

HubSpot integration is included with the KnowledgeNet.ai Premier and Professional plans. It will work with any HubSpot account except Marketing Hub™ Free. 

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT "SCOPES"

Scopes are permissions that you grant apps so they can communicate with HubSpot. Each scope provides access to a set of HubSpot API endpoints and allows users to give KnowledgeNet.ai access to specific tools in your HubSpot account.

The following scopes are required to connect KnowledgeNet.ai with HubSpot:

  1. All self-serve CRM integrations begin the same way: A KnowledgeNet.ai Administrator must click on this link to go to the Integrations tab in the Admin Settings: https://app.knowledgenet.ai/app/admin/integrations.

  2. Find your CRM and click the blue "Connect" button. REMEMBER: You must also have Administrator privileges in your CRM account to successfully connect. Click the "Connect" button on the Salesforce card to open the Salesforce app.

  3. Click the radio button next to the HubSpot account you wish to connect to KnowledgeNet.ai, then click "Choose Account."

  4. Review the permissions that KnowledgeNet.ai is requesting, then click "Connect app."

  5. Click "Configure" to control which KnowledgeNet.ai users are allowed to export to HubSpot and which HubSpot lists KnowledgeNet.ai users are allows to export to.

  6. On the Configure Lists tab, use the drop-down arrow to change the default from "Allow KnowledgeNet user to export to ANY HubSpot List" to "Allow KnowledgeNet.ai users to ONLY export to specified lists."

  7. Check the box(es) next to the lists that you want to make available. Click the "Load More" button to see more options.

  8. Remember to click "Save" to preserve your changes.

  9. On the Configure Users tab, use the drop-down arrow to change the default from "EVERYONE in your organization can export to this integration" to "Specify which users can use this integration."

  10. Click the "Add/Invite User" button to choose which members of your organization can have export privileges. Remember to click the "Save" button when you are finished.

  11. To stop your integration, click the "Disconnect" button.
